Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood''
The 'Bloodgood' Japanese maple is a stunning ornamental tree with a round shape and a height and spread of about 20 feet, making it a great addition to residential landscapes. The leaves of the 'Bloodgood' Japanese maple are the main attraction, as they remain a vibrant red color for most of the summer, adding a dramatic pop of color to any garden. In hotter climates in the southern part of its range, the leaves may turn greenish red during periods of hot weather.
