Alleghany Viburnum
Viburnum x rhytidophylloides 'Allegheny'
Alleghany Viburnum is a striking shrub introduced by the National Arboretum, resulting from a cross between V. rhytidophyllum and V. lantana 'Mohican'. With its dark green foliage, this deciduous to semi-persistent shrub is not only beautiful but also easy to care for. In May, creamy white flower clusters appear above the foliage, adding a touch of elegance to any garden. The vibrant red fruits turn to black in winter, providing year-round interest to your landscape.
